Who and what is dragonfly?

Dragonfly is a 3D virtual tour company that specializes in 360-degree imagery, floor plans, and drone work. We help people showcase their space in a way that is exceptional compared to average photography.

What is a Matterport camera?

A Matterport is an advanced camera that takes real-world images in a 360-degree rotation.

What is a Virtual Tour?

Virtual tours are 360-degree images of real-world views that are stitched together to create a walkthrough that can be accessed online. It is compatible with any smartphone, computer or tablet. From this virtual tour, we can then create traditional and 3D floor plans.

How does your company differ from other virtual tour companies?

Our company differs from other virtual tour companies because the technology we use is compatible with any smartphone, tablet or computer. Other companies require Flash Player which isn’t always compatible with certain devices. Other companies use Google virtual tours which creates choppy and inconsistent images. Our virtual tour technology makes it possible for easy usage and only requires the internet to view.

Who is your target market?

Our target market is quite simply anyone who wants to showcase their space online. This ranges from commercial to industrial to residential buildings and from any client base. Real-estate to wedding venues, car dealerships to museums. Interior or exterior, we can help.

Can you do measurements from the scans?

Anything we scan you can take measurements afterward. Let us know before-hand if you require measurements as we will take more scans for more detail.

Does the building have to be empty to scan?

It is preferred that there are no people in the shots while taking the footage, but if the customer is okay with having people in their shot, we are able to blur out faces for privacy.

How long does it take to measure a building?

It all depends on detail and the size of the building. For example, a 2000 sq. ft. house would take approximately an hour while a 7000 sq. ft. building with no obstructions may take the same amount of time.
